Re: Competitive Shooting in Berks
I sent Dean, from Topton, a message on Facebook. There is no pistol match this month. I was hoping to shoot sooner than October. I've seen some video, from a member here, on IDPA at Lower Providence. If the schedule works out (I haven't checked it yet) maybe Ill check that out.

Re: Competitive Shooting in Berks
It was brought to my attention that there is a pistol and/or rifle shoot at Oley Valley Fish and Game next weekend (18th). I'm pretty sure I'll be there (only shooting pistol) but I don't know which time slot. I have a friend that I'm trying to talk into going. He hasn't done any action shooting and I think this would be a great opportunity for him to give it a try in a laid back environment (as compared to USPSA).

I'm not going to be able to break away this weekend. I have yet to check out that club. Based on the information on their website, it looks like a great place to shoot.

Walt check out south chester too , they host a good match and you find most of the uspsa shooters are laid back at a club level , sectional and up might be more tense , but if you're safe and there to have fun don't let anyone ruin it for you! I have met more good then bad at the local matches.

Re: Competitive Shooting in Berks
you did better then "throwing rocks blindfolded" but then again you shoot limited with a "limited" amount of competetors and hope to see you next month. I felt I did better then usual but that's because the good guys were all at the sectionals. I wish you would come back to production class.
