    Default A 3/4-scale .22LR 1911??

At the NRA convention I could of swore that someone had a smallish-scale .22LR "1911" at their booth. Does anyone else recall seeing that, or know of such a scaled-down ".22 1911"?
    TIA!

Yes, after further research Browning now has a brand-new made-in-USA $500.00 "baby" 1911-22A1. All I recall from the NRA show was that "someone" made one and it seemed nice, so this be it.

But $500.00 would by a GSG or Umarex 1911-22 and a shiite-load of ammo.
Now to discover which of those two are the better 1911/22 knock-offs.

Most reviews I've read say GSG. I'm keeping an eye out for one currently. I'd like to get the Tactical one with the rail. They say it has very similar weight and feel to a true 1911. The only downfall is the price and availability of mags.

In the 70's, Llama made (FIE and others imported it) a 3/4 scale 1911A1 in 380 ACP and 32 ACP and I think they also made a 22 as well, but I've never had one in 22.
