Ankle Holster

Just picked up a ankle holster for my LCP. Anyone ever used one and do you like it??

Ankle glove most all the time. Works for me because of my body style and standard dress, Boot cut jeans

I want to draw with my right hand from the inside of my left ankle... which hand orientation do I order?

Anyone recommend for or against this holster?

Only problem I have with that one is the size of the strap. It's short and will be tight if you are a big guy. I'm 60 foot 280 n it's real tight.

And I have to opposite problem 6'3" 190 and the strap is to long. E-mailed Galco a while back and they said it would cost a bundle to get a custom version. So if you're smaller than average size I would suggest the calf strap.

My wife uses one for her LCP as a backup. It works well, although she wears short socks so it chafes. I got her wrapping a small piece of cloth under the strap as a cushion, and it works fine for her.

I hate it. Let me rephrase that. I really find it uncomfortable. With a gun any bigger than a J frame or an LCP I absolutely hate it. Just plain don't like crap strapped to my ankle.

It probably doesn't help that I only use a cheap Uncle Mikeys holster, but it so rare that I do it I don't care.
