I was also just thinking, if we have it at the one near the Police station. We could extend an olive branch and walk over to the Police Station and tell them they are more than welcome to join us and/or have something to eat.

Is the Police Station in walking distance?

Very good idea. It's on the lower level of the community center just steps from the pavilions.

My hubby and I would also love to join in - pending 2 college kids and that is the witching hour for packing/organizing/moving in. I don't know the parks but no problem in finding them. Hubby works weekends but sometimes he can switch to get a specific day off, so a date will be needed in advance by a week or so.
