    Default German Luger 9MM?

My friend called me today to say his father left him some guns when he passed. I went over to his house and he told me to take them to see if there worth anything. His wife doesn't like guns in the house I don't know much about older German guns so here are some pics.

That there is worth some money.. I'm gonna guess close to $1200-$1500.

Do not separate the holster from the gun - keep them as a package.

    so it's a wehrmacht p08. it's a model 1934, made by mauser.

the 45 is a shooter grade mixmaster. has a usgi 1911 lower and an a1 upper, that may or may not be usgi.

That's a nice Mauser (S/42) Luger, made in 1936 obviously. Looks to be all matching and is probably a vet bring back based on the holster and pair of mags. Finish is very good. Knight is correct: don't split up the rig whatever you do. And I'd say his estimate is good too.

Here's some disassembly instructions f you want to verify it's matching:

And if you join the one of the Luger forums and post pics they'll give you a very good idea of value:
