    Default sig sauer p220 carry

So, here I am, bit by the gun bug again. Considering selling my springfield micro 1911 to fund my new obsession as of lately. That obsession is the sig sauer p220 carry. But, never have actually carried the gun; I was curious as to some opinions on here.
I know the gun itself is billed as a carry gun, but who am I kidding? This is still a beefy gun. I've been spoiled by the ease of carry my micro gave me. But, I was wondering if any of you guys here have carried p220c and if so, what ways did you conceal it? Now, I tend to find inside the pants, back behind the thigh area at a canted angle seems to work out pretty well. Not sure how that will work with the sig.
Also, is this gun as badass as I think it might be??

With the right holster carrying should be a breeze. I carry a Sig 226 in a Mitch Rosen 5JR. http://mitchrosen.com/product_line/product_line.html I carry on the belt and it conceals effortlessly. It is holster compatable with the 220 ( so Im told ) so this feedback should be relative. I too am after a 220. I want the full size though. A friend of mine has a 220c and yes, its a great gun. I cant even carry a Kahr PM9 iwb comfortably so I dont experiment along that route any longer. Good luck, let us know when you get one.

I think you will miss your Springfield micro 1911. The frame/grip of the Sig P220 carry is the same as the full size P220 and will not conceal as easily as your 1911. Only the slide and barrel are shorter.

I'm actually open to the carry or compact version. I want to stay with the .45 (I have myself a progressive press already set up for it) Personally, I know part of me would miss my micro but I'm kind of sick of it. It was one of the fancy new toys I bought on impulse. I've sent it back to springfield twice for warranty work. It seems to work great now, but I guess I'm just soured on the gun in general. I didn't want to sell it off to anyone till it was fixed. I'm not big on selling my problems off to someone else. lol I know sig sauer comes with quite a price tag,but how much does one of these bad boys go for used in general? I see prices wildly vary online.

although i like the sig more, the 1911 should be a better carry. id assume its a lot slimmer also.

Here is a custom hybrid I just finished for a customer. That is my P220 I carry during the colder months. Given the choice I would go with the compact. Just my $.02

I have to admit, that stainless sig kind of gave me a hard on, I'm not gonna lie. hahah. Hoping I can trade my micro 1911 for a sig. Sooner rather than later.
