    As I recall there was even a chat room created apart from the forum to free up bandwidth. It did not last long.

    how bout you don't "speak" for the mods... mmmmmmmm'kay?

    the first chat overloaded the server with process utilization issues
    the second was not much better.

    the IRC channel merely became a home for the malcontents to plan attacks on the forum, and how to troll here.. you know, sorta like folks do on the ZRT forum.

    so, its been decided that a chat is not really necessary... as SB says... its fluff.
