Helping a friend win a Facebook contest
Hey everyone! I was hoping you folks could help me out real quick.
A good friend of mine is trying to win a contest. The way he qualified was to completely custom-build a 1911 from the ground up. He's put a LOT of time and effort into this, and he really deserves to win this contest.
Kevin's entry is #30 - the one with the Damascus slide, pair of knives and the half empty box of .45 ammo. If you could please just click that little "Like" button (you may have to "Like" Brownell's first), I'd really appreciate it!

A description of the work he did on it:
i built this mostly while i was at school. the frame and all small parts are Wilson combat this was a ground up build that i did. the slide is a Caspian govt full size Damascus . It has a Wilson match grade barrel and bushing. The parts were hand fit. The grips are Bastgone walnut that i hand cut, fit, and finished. The sites are a bomar rear site and a trijcon front. I put this in here because i noticed that one person asked for a description of the work done on the weapons in here.Last edited by ViperGTS19801; May 31st, 2011 at 01:58 PM.

Re: Helping a friend win a Facebook contest
I tried but it won't let me on. Says it's an unsecure site. Not long ago I was told to chang FB settings to use https: vs http. The "s" will not let unsecure sites load or access your account.
I will change my FB setting and go on under http: and give him a like.Last edited by DonM55; May 31st, 2011 at 02:18 PM.

Done and done.
If guns kill people, then pencils misspell words.

While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.
