It is mostly antique and military items with a smattering of new stuff.

I haven't been to show in awhile. I might go depends. I'm looking to pick up some Ballistol and cheap 7.62x39mm ammo.

Anyone care to guesstimate the chances of finding a Swiss K31?

Re: Allentown Gun Show - Forks of the Delaware Historical Arms Society
Gonna try to go Saturday to look for parts and old ammo bought an old H&R .38S&W revolver from a dealer at an eagle arms show a while back and wanna shoot it if I can get ammo. She looks rough but locks up tight and bores and rifling are nice pretty sure it needs black powder loads though

Re: Allentown Gun Show - Forks of the Delaware Historical Arms Society
About the only thing I've done in recent years at the Allentown Gun show is go inside early Saturday morning and snag some guy walking around with an interesting long arm for sale.
Managed to pick up three good service grade quality M1 Garands and couple of SKS rifles along with a nice Rem 870 police riot gun from "distressed" private sellers. After doing the deal out in the parking lot . . . and spending the wade, I usually keep going and leave. Most paid for one of those WW2 era M1 rifles was $575 from persons wandering around at shows, usually at the Fairground Hall at Allentown. As they say . . ."cash talks". There are great deals to be found out in the parking lot.
In thinking about, I haven't bought a gun at a gun show from a dealer in probably 25-years. Why bother? Just remembered purchasing a four-dollar bore light at a show awhile ago. Went one time last year, didn't see anything of interest and left after less than an hour.
When I was into Civil War period arms, there used to be plenty of parts sellers set up at those shows such as "Stoneman of the Delaware". Don't see much of that anymore.
Really believe that today, having all the real time activity with the Internet, gun shows are somewhat obsolete.
