Now THIS is exactly why I joined this site. I have been going over the MANY choices in handguns that are out there and like both the looks and the price of the Thunder 380. for my first purchase. I'm looking for something for home defense and ultimately CC as well but I never trust reviews in magazines and such, But a forum full of regular users that comment openly and freely about their likes and dislikes I will listen to every time.
    Thanks guys.

My bersa will be joining my pistol family this week when it comes in. they are kinda tough to get at my local shop as they get gone as soon as he gets them in. I had to order mine so I hope it comes soon. Summers in the south and shorts and tshirts really dont lend well to carrying one of my 1911's everywhere i go. I'm going to get a iwb holster or just drop it in my pocket and keep being safe. If I have advance warning in time before trouble comes my way though, I'm still gonna grab one of the .45's. Much bigger holes and is a tackdriver. Will let you guys know how good mine is. Thanks for the polishing tips on them. I know about my .45's but was wondering on the bersa.

I have a duo-tone I love shooting it and I cc with it all the time. I bought two holsters didnt really like the Uncle mikes to much but on a ebay store "Plant Holster" they sell universal holsters that I think are really confortable.

As stated the BEST gun for the money, I loved mine but traded it to my SIL for a Rem 870, which is now my House gun. Thunder shoots well, conceals Great.

    Bersa 380-------------A wonderful little gun.
I have had one fail to eject in the first mag ever fired, after that its performance has been perfect.

we had one for my wife, great gun.
I had some problems with it, seemed the slide was getting too much contact on a part of the frame, which slowed it down and I believe contributed to some failures. The screw for the cheappo windage adjustment on the rear sight popped out while at the range. No biggies. Got a new scew put in and loctited in. The frame showed wear marks where it rubbed and became reliable after a short break in period.
Too big for the wife to carry.
Now my little sis owns it.

Great gun for the money, but I would spend a small amount more and pick up a CZ if the fatter grip is OK.

    Thank you...................
If I remember, the grips were $60.00 and are hand made.
I don't remember the maker but www.bersatalk.com mostlikely can give you that information. I also have the rap-around rubber finger grips that give the gun a very different feel, in a good way.
What I like best is the lock on the frame and removing the mag makes the gun inoperable. (Also, I have better groups with the .380 than I do with my
Glock 9x19... Please don't tell anyone ---the Glock Guy'z will be upset)

I love my Bersa too. I have over a 1000 rounds through it, only had 2 FTE's in the first 100 rounds. My wife loves it also! I've changed the grips to the rubber wrap around. The grips shown below are the ones that came with it.
