Proud new owner, Kahr PM9
After months of research and consideration, looking for a CCW, I decided on a Kahr PM9 and just picked it up this week I bought it from Kings in KoP based on recommendations from this site, very happy with that decision too, nice people, really know their stuff, and happy to talk to gun newbies.
Next up, a crimson trace laser, High Noon Holster and the Insights Training Course end of July.
I have yet to put one round through my new gun, but hope too soon.
Any other PM9 owners out there have an tips for the gun or things to watch out for?

As far as tips......shoot it often and enjoy it. Things to watch out for.....make sure to put the guide rod spring back in with the closed end toward the muzzle. You dont want to know what happens if you dont.

Break it in. Kahr says their guns require a 200 round break in before being 100% reliable. Mine had some hang ups until about 50 rounds and has been 100% since then.
I think you mean open end towards the muzzle. That's how mine came and it works fine. Never tried reversing it.

Congrats on the new toy! I see you're fairly new here & may not know the rules:

I'm jealous. It's probably my next gun. It's like a 9mm pocket knife.

Make sure you read the instruction manual and don't hand rack the slide to put the first round in the chamber but use the slide stop for that purpose. Missed that first time out and had all kinds of FTF and FTE problems. Kahr CS straightened me out. Dumb, dumb, dumb.

someone should do a size comparison between a pm9 and a sig 238...just wondering how tiny the pm9 really is...hmmmmm. Congrats on the new purchase though!
