"New" Rifle & New 1911

My CMP/7.62mm Firearms M14 was done on 5/21 and I got it on 5/25. There's just something about the M1 Garand and M14. While picking up my rifle, I saw they had a Springfield Range Officer in the case.

Took the rifle out and that thing is amazing. I can get them in the black at 100 yds and that's fine with me for now.

Well today I just had to go back and check out that Springfield. It didn't take long at all for me to say I'd take it.

Ran home and added some lubrication, also ran a patch through the barrel. Only grabbed 100 rnds for tonight.

One word: FLAWLESS. I used the 2 factory mags as well as 2 Wilson Combat 47Ds. Shot 50 rnds of PMC Bronze and 50 of Remington UMC. Started to get dark so I wasn't really trying to get perfection. Adjusted the sights a little and damn can this baby shoot. If I do my part, it'll handle the rest.

Enough talk. I hope to get my light box set up again for some more pistol pics. I may make a change or two (eliminate the ILS, grips), so I'll have more pics then.

I only shot maybe 6 rnds at 15 yds and the rest at 25. Just need to make a minor adjustment. I love this pistol.
