Default Thinking of Thinning my Glock Herd.

So I LOVE glocks but recently went through everything and am thinking as much as I love them I dont need all of them and am looking to pick up a Five-seveN so it would help the cost a bit. This is what I currently have.

I just got rid of a 19c gen3 last week. I love them but I dont really get around to shooting them all. Whats everyones opinions? What should stay and what should go? Or should I just keep them all? I guess you cant really have to many guns. I also really want a 21 but then I run into the whole I feel the need to buy a ton of ammo for it.

Sounds like me with my video equipment and my old music gear.

Everytime I said I can't think of the last time I used this and sold it somewhere, I was more pleased with the toys I replaced it with lol. You could always let one or two go and still keep a few around? That's what I'd do.

I didn't think it was possible to have to many Glocks! I own a 19 Gen 4 and I love it! It's my everyday carry gun. Nice collection.

Keep all your Glocks you have a nice rounded collection....My advice is......A= work more overtime....B= Layaway is your friend...C= Peanut Butter jar way back under your bed...Every payday put as much as you can in it,,then,,throw it way back under your bed...In two to four months,"there you go"......

Option C was taught to me by a friend, many years ago when I was in the USAF...
BTW...He lived off base and that's how he hid his gun money from his wife... lol

Personally I would ditch the .40S&W.

9mm and .45acp go together if you want the 21/30 route. =)

5.7x28 will be a nice addition.

Thinning? You need to add a G21 and G30!
Seriously, if it were me, I'd ditch the the 19 and the 23. I found my 17 to be an all around better feeling/shooting gun, despite the somewhat larger size. But, if you don't absolutely have to dump any, don't. It is a nice collection.

I dont HAVE to get rid of any I just dont use them all and probably never really will have a use for ALL of them and ive been looking for a 21 and a 30 for a while but havent seen any really pristine used ones at the shops as of yet. When I do i'll end up buying those too. I kinda think 1 9 and 1 40 should be more than enough from one brand but yet I seem to be able to rationalize all of them.

And why not, they're Glocks! Great guns, and having many needs no justification. Keep the collection going, and maybe one day, you can join Hickok45 as a special guest at "the compound". ;-)
