Nice to meet you there Bill, nice rifle you've got there, too bad that I have to run 'cause I don't feel comfy to leave my wife in my truck alone in Philly's parking lot.

Re: SPAG 12-30-07 noon
I was totally shock when I see the store and an indoor range, especially from that location, we drove by once in a while and sometime just stop at some Asian market/Restaurances on Washington and 6th street, pick up some cheese steaks from either Geno's or Pat's then drove back home, but never ever know or even think about there is a gun store let alone an indoor range in that area, the Ellsworth(sp) street name caught my eye on the way home so I just made a quick stop and check the place out. Not a bad place at all.

Re: SPAG 12-30-07 noon
As a city-dweller, I'm a big fan of SPAG. In fact, I got myself a membership back in September on Springfield Armory Day. They let us fire anything "up to but not including .50", and no hip shots. Pretty reasonable, especially when the other option is to buy a car and drive outside the city to a range that allows rifles. 55' feet isn't much for a rifle, but again...city dweller...not a hunter..anything I am yanking a rifle out for isn't gonna be all that far away anyhow.
I bought my XD there, and paid about $30-40 less than I found it for anywhere else, and nobody else had the stainless slide sub-compact in stock anyhow.

Re: SPAG 12-30-07 noon
SPAG is OK but the ammo prices are not great and one of the younger guys who has been working the range recently seems to go out of his way to be unpleasant. Mike and the older guys are nothing but nice.
Might start going back to Firing Line when my membership expires. Can alway shoot my rifles elsewhere. Is the ammo that much more expensive there? The stack of paper targets they give you probably evens it out (vs. the $1 targets at SPAG).
