Scoping my 686, any scope recommendations?

Recently picked up a 686-4 with a scope mount installed. IMO, the -4 revision is the best one to have, no lock, factory drilled for scope mount, and forged hammer and trigger. Anyway, I need to find a scope for it. I am very unfamiliar with handgun scopes, anyone have any recommendations? Looking to spend about $100 max.

IMHO look at the used pistol scope market.

Get a 2X Leupold pistol scope. These scope are just about undistructable and if you any problems you send it back Leupold and take advantage of their no BS service department---life time warranty

I have a Weaver Classic 2X on mine. A little more than your price point, but a great scope...

I have a 686-4 that came with a Swift 2X20. I also have a Swift scope on my Ruger Mk III. I paid about $110 for it, with the rings. The Swift scopes are good quality and affordable. If you can find a Leupold for that little, buy it, otherwise the Swift is the ticket. I love 'em.
