I had some problems with my magazines originally, I did not get all of the cosmaline out of the magazine release. I would try taking the magazine release out and cleaning it really well, the assembly is held together by a split end pin, I was able to remove mine with a small flat head screw driver. Another thing I noticed is I put one of the springs in the magazine backwards and that caused some issues with feeding. It would also be a good idea to clean the magazine really well as mine was quite full of cosmaline too. Hope this helps!

I blasted and soaked the mag release on one with a good bit of low VOC brake cleaner, did the trick just perfect with that little straw. Wear gloves and goggles.

(Then I realized how much easier it was to clean the whole thing that way!)

Give it a very good cleaning to be sure you've removed all of the cosmoline. I second the brake cleaner suggestion.
