Default Quick question about LTCF references for Philadelphia

My girlfriend is now going to apply for her LTCF. I was just wondering, since she only found one so far, will I be able to be a reference for her even though we live in the same house? I know Philadelphia is picky about things and I don't want to just assume it is alright and then have to deal with a bunch of issues.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

You are not a family member so it shouldn't matter.

As long as you are not family members, you can be a reference.
Any other criteria or restriction is against the UFA and Philly is making it up and its your personal battle haw far you want to force them into compliance.
Your references can be from Phila or Allentown or PA or Wyoming if you want.

If they do call your references, they should not be disclosing to anyone that you are applying:

    (i) Confidentiality.-- All information provided by the potential purchaser, transferee or applicant, including, but not limited to, the potential purchaser, transferee or applicant's name or identity, furnished by a potential purchaser or transferee under this section or any applicant for a license to carry a firearm as provided by section 6109 shall be confidential and not subject to public disclosure.

In addition to any other sanction or penalty imposed by this chapter, any person, licensed dealer, State or local governmental agency or department that violates this subsection shall be liable in civil damages in the amount of $1,000 per occurrence or three times the actual damages incurred as a result of the violation, whichever is greater, as well as reasonable attorney fees.

As long as you are not family members - you should be good to go. I did my app through Phily and they didn't contact any of my references and they were both from outside of Philly.
    this is not legal advice.
