    Default 1911 build

Building a 1911 & I need a cheap easy tool to stake the plunger tube. Maybe a tool I can get at lowes or home depot?

Why not shop online at Brownells? if not you can get a punch at any hardware store

Get the right tool from Midway or Brownells. Without it you take the chance of crushing or breaking the tube itself.

Proper plunger tube staking requires it to be done from inside the frame.

Good call in getting the right tool for the job

Good Luck on your build and I hope it gives you plenty of happy range time when you are done.
    gotta love her ;)
