Assuming I understand this correctly- long story short, people's egos are getting in the way. Everyone wants to be able to take credit of the bill, thus resulting in sort of a limbo status.

Re: any news on getting a "stand your ground" law?
Does anyone know who I should contact to get the ball moving on this. I'm not sure when it comes up again but I would like to push them to get it done.
Then I can discuss on HB822 so my concealed carry permit will work in jersey.

as i understand it, HB40 still has a duty to retreat in it and that a representative (i cannot remember who) was working on a separate bill to remove the duty to retreat
