FORM 4 QUESTION
someone from out of state bought one of my nfa items,( now this is where im getting confused)...
since i cant sell it to someone without a sot/c3 etc. i would sell (transfer) to their dealer and then they would transfer it to them, correct?
shouldnt i have sent the paperwork to the dealer so he can fill out his info and then he sends it to the atf?
I got an email today from the guy who bought my gun, he told me his dealer just found two copies of the form 4 in his records. (i sent it to him 4 months ago). he said that i was supposed to send it to the atf. is he wrong or am i wrong?FJB

I might be wrong, but I thought you had to send a copy to ATF and dealer....

Re: FORM 4 QUESTION
Two tax transfer
$200 from you on the F4 from you to his out-of-state dealer
$200 from him on the F4 from his dealer to him.
You send 2 copies to the ATF; they will send you back one, which you ship with the gun to his dealer.
The dealer should have sent you his FFL/SOT information for you to put on the F4.
