Re: Hi-point
Yeah, but the Sig is balanced. The high point with a standard mag is a little nose-heavy, but it helps it settle back down for a second aimed shot more quickly. After using a bench rest for a few of mine, I realized that the accuracy depends solely on the ammo; WWB or Federal Eagle, 4 or 5 inch circle. Carry-grade Cor-Bon left a ragged hole in the center bull (all at 25).
I suspect that the fixed barrel may have something to do with that.
The two-tones are definitely better looking, but you have to polish the heck out of the slide to keep it shiny."...a REPUBLIC, if you can keep it."

Re: Hi-point
Good job bud you described everything bad about them. Thats all you ever hear is looks and never any 1st hand opinions about how bad they are. Thats because hi-point owners like their gun.
Have you ever shot one?? I have.
Have you every owned one?? Again I have.
He very accurately discribed the looks of a high point, however do to the weight the very shootable. Recoils is actually pretty good, pretty accuarate for what they are a $150 gun. I own the 9mm and have shot the .45 both are decent. My 9mm did not malfuction at all even during break in period. Shots all the cheap rounds with no problems.
