My wife has a SR9, very nice pistol. Safe glock like trigger,Accurate, reliable and very slim and light.very easy to carry concealed. 17+1 mag cap. Mags are steep at $32.50 I saw a guy at the range with an sr9c, he loved his. You can carry the 10rd +1 and have the 17rd as a backup mag. there is a full sized sr9 on the classifieds for $300. If i wasn't looking for a rifle I would jump on that.

das- I have sr9c ,I also have 2-10 rd and 1-17 rd mags . I'm very happy with mine . carry in a BlackHawk Serpa holster .thinking about getting viridian C5L laser & tac lite for on it . a little expensive but I might splurge anyway !

SR9c is a really nice pistol. Some don't like the 1911 style safety and the extra large LOADED indicator. (Mandated to sell in some states) But it's a dream to shoot.
Ruger fixed the trigger problem with the early SR9 and actually made it better with the
compact model. When your first shot with a NEW pistol is a bulls-eye you tend to
like it that much more. Mine shoots better than I do.

The SR9c comes standard with two mags, finger rest, ext.magazine sleeve, gun lock,
and magazine loader. What's not to like?

I was standing at the gun counter in Cabela's the other day and overheard the two
salesmen talking. The one asked the other, "What's that pistol that we can't keep
in stock?". The other sales guy says, "Ruger SR9c. Everyone wants them."

I have the full size and the compact and like them both. they both shoot very well. i think they need to redesign the safety because it's poorly located and sharp edged as well as too short for convenient use.

I have owned the SR9C for just about a year and love it.. I also carry it in a Bianchi Model 82 lever lock holster which is for a glock 19 but fits perfect ..never had a problem with it yet..
