Bought My First AR Today!

Have a ton of handguns and shotguns but finally bought a shiny new AR. Its a M&P 15 Sport. It doesnt have the foward assist and the dust cover but I dont really feel like im ever going to be in the desert or jungle to need one and for the price it got me into the AR world. I have a feeling this is going to lead to my own build.

Just heard about these "sport" models. how much did you pay if you don't mind me asking? depending on the cost difference it might be worth it for the forward assist imo
