Re: Harrisburg Gun Show - Metcalf Gunshows
Good to meet those of you who stopped to say hi, I was right across from precision firearms. I was able to score some B-32 Armor Piercing/Incendiary 7.62x54r.

Re: Harrisburg Gun Show - Metcalf Gunshows
Plus one on the show being kind of dead this year. I went sunday and though I really enjoyed the sparse crowd, the show proved to be not much of an attractant for a crowd to begin with.
Several vendors mentioned that business was not good all weekend. I was able to deal on a few purchases. Got some nice deals on AR mags, brand new gi surplus in plastic by Center Ind. for $6 each when the beat up used ones were five bucks. G17 mags for $22.50 and two 33 round factory mags for $33 each.
Finally picked up a Fenix LD20 Got it for $45 and the thing is great. I've been thinking about it for a year and just said screw it when I saw them for forty five. Nice light and I like it alot.
Almost bought a Walther P-22 I've been debating. Should have gotten it. I looked at one again at National today and they are gonna call me when an olive drab comes in. I'm happy doing business with those guys.
I was a little disappointed in harrisburg. I drive two hours to go. The last two times I went were nice. This year was far less quality from vendors to selection to that rip-off parking fee. Even the military surplus booths and gear were terrible this year.
I hope it improves for next year because its the one show I go to that I really look forward to.Adapt, Adjust and Overcome.

Re: Harrisburg Gun Show - Metcalf Gunshows
I went sunday & arrived to a very sparse crowd. Vendors were not pleased with the turnout from what i heard. I was happy with my haul which included a new (w/o box) RIA 1911 for $330.

Re: Harrisburg Gun Show - Metcalf Gunshows
I would have liked to go, but to pay $40 in gas, $8 for parking, just to pick up some things I could order online or even for cheaper, I figured it wasn't really worth it for me. I love going to shows and even just looking, but I've been spending a lot on various things lately and it just didn't seem I needed to go and spend more..
Sounds like some of you found a couple solid deals though.III%
