Default New gun owner and new to site

First time gun owner. My father recommended I come check this site out. Seems like a quality forum.

Today at the gun show at the York Fair grounds I bought a 40mm S&W M&P.

I shot my fathers first and it just felt right.

Got a lot to learn and will take whatever wisdom you will pass on.

Welcome to the forum and gun ownership. There are tons of great threads on this forum for the new gun owner. My advice to you would be just dive right in and read all you can. I will also suggest you check out all you can about gun laws first.

Welcome, I would recommend looking into taking a safety course. Lots of good info here but nothing beats hands on training.

Thumbs up Re: New gun owner and new to site

Welcome to the forum, I think you'll find it very informative on a variety of subjects. And congrats on the first gun, can't go wrong with an M&P. Enjoy it and this forum.
