Default Republican primary election for Sheriff

I see where there are two candidates in the Republican Sheriff primary race. Reese has the party endorsement and has served with sheriff's dept for over a decade. Rodriquez background is not with Sheriff's dept, but with the State.

Does anyone know who is most supportive of gun owner rights?

FOAC is showing "no suitable candidates" for that election. I'll see if I can find out why, as there are numerous reasons that could be, but I couldn't say at this point who's better on 2a issues.

Ended up voting for Reese. Prior sheriff did not hassle CCW applicants so I hope Reese follows his example. I think Reese handled CCW section under retired sheriff, so maybe that is a good sign.

Other guy was just too much of an unknown.

This is one area were gunowners can really make a difference. Very low voter turnout. As of 2:15 in Upper Leacock less than 100 voters had shown up. Poll watchers wondered whether they would hit 100 voters for the day.
