Says I am not authorized to post any replies? Is my account locked?

No, replies are not allowed to posts in the classified sections.

Please read the information, and classified rules.

Only original posters are allowed to reply, and are only allowed to bump them every three days.
I'm so fast, I can bump fire a bolt action.

And in case you are wondering why... this is the internet. The only thing more common than pr0n is opinions. And when you post your "Really nice gun for $400" you really don't need to hear from every John Q Douchebag about how that's a ripoff and nobody should buy that gun, at that price, from you, on a Tuesday, etc.

It is a good system. Kudos to PAFOA for doing it right.

I see things like that often in the classifieds. I think sometimes they take their que from the Philly gunshops where prices are usually much higher than other areas.
    Some people just plain suck.

Yes, with this system it is possible to see people overcharging or otherwise trying to mark things up. But this is EXACTLY why no comments are allowed. Say guy 1 is selling a gun for $400. You have seen that gun for sale at a gun show for $375. You post that in his selling thread. Now people who would never go to a gun show might think "screw this guy I can get that cheaper" when in reality, how do you or they know that? Chances are good that show is over. Will that dealer be back with that gun? Will the potential buyer even go to a gun show?

End of the day, caveat emptor. Followed closely by "it's none of your business." I say it works fine.

Was the red bolded text at the top of every ad not apparent to you?

Please Note: You can not reply to other people's classified ads, it is not a problem with your account. Contact them either via email or private message.

That was my first reaction as well. I think that if people have the ability to reply in peoples add it will become one big mess.
I have seen this on other forums and the moderators on these forums have a day job just deleting and closing topics because of it.
