    Default Certification?

    Hello all just found this sight and signed up.
    I'm located in Beaver county
    Our club is working up a jr. program and also trying to get local boy scout troop some shooting time.
    Question of certification of instructers came up.
    Is any required? What type,how to obtain etc.
    I checked the NRA website and ordered some course material.Any classes in western Pa?

    The NRA can hook you up with instructors and they can connect you with instructors that train for instructor certification but I believe you have to call them to get the info (wasn't published on website). Or at east it wasn't when I was getting cert.

    Check www.pmsconline.com for classes (N. Versailles / Monroeville).

    Like Tony said, PMSC. Contact Bill Chessman, he is one of the NRA instructors there and holds classes for NRA certification. you can find his contact info here:

    BTW, we host the Scouts every year for 2 days of shooting sports.
