Long Guns, no prob… cased w/ammo separate, to/from range. Hand Guns, cased w/ammo separate, to/from sanctioned event, bring proof of event, be carefull!

Re: trapshooting at Tri-States in Port Jervis
Thanks to you guys here in the Pike County section of PAFOA....
A co-worker who recently moved into the area asked me to go shooting Labor Day weekend. I told him you picked the wrong weekend to ask, as I knew Rt6 would be packed. So I did a bit of a search back here as I had remembered reading this a while back.
We got to Tri-States Sunday about noon time and sat for a while just watching, since I had never shot trap in a formal 5 stand setting and only with a bunch of buddies in an old quarry almost 30 years ago. My buddy Jim had only shot skeet with his old club and shot sporting clays a few times. Well, what a great bunch over at Tri-States, very friendly and willing to help...We had a great time and we will be back!!
Can't say I did too shabby for not shooting clay birds in many years....Was a great change from shooting paper!!!
Thanks again for this info!!!
