ruger customer service
while teach my sons friend to shoot with my ruger single six the base pin latch disassembled itself and the spring got lost.
i called ruger and told them that i needed a spring. i expected to pay $1 for the spring and $5 for postage. the guy says if you want i can send that to you for free. no! i want to pay for it in fact charge me double.
got to love good customer service.

Re: ruger customer service
it didnt really break. after 25 years the two pieces of the base pin latch unscrewed and the spring went flying.

Rugers don't die, when one gets tired of shooting them, they could always be used to support the foundation of a building.
