    Default Clay shooting

Ive been going to archbald for awhile now because of the clay shooting area that they allow up there.

I havent been to Pike in awhile ever since they closed the shotgun area.

I was wondering if anybody has any info on if they have reopened the area or have an area to shoot clays?

It would save me a extra 45 minutes driving up to Archbald.

    I recently visited this place:

    http://www.lvsclays.com/

Just North of Allentown about a 40 minute drive from the West end of Monroe Co.

It is a state of the art facility and quite reasonably priced.

Of course, now that the good weather is here they are busy, busy, busy!

A League shooter is required to shoot two rounds of trap for score each Tuesday. They will assign you to a team.

The range is located at the end of Orange St. Turn off Main St. onto Orange St. by Elmer's Coffee Shop. Look at it this way...it will probably cost you the same or less for two rounds of trap then the gas it takes to get to Archbald and back. You'll meet a nice group of people, too!

Incidentally, you can shoot there on Sundays (practice) without having a membership.
I joined the League and the club last week. I met a great group of people and had a great time. Some of these guys shoot clays at a lot of other places too and go on the road to shoot. I am looking forward to getting to know them better and being invited on some trips.
