Delco Ranges
Hey folks, I'm going to be spending a lot more of my time in lower Delaware County now and was wondering if any of you could recommend good indoor handgun 25-yard ranges in the area. If possible, I'd prefer to avoid clubs that require expensive memberships; I'm looking for a place where I can just rent a lane for an hour and use my own guns, ammo, and eye & ear protection. Any suggestions?
Thanks for your help.

Re: Delco Ranges
If you want to spend a lot of time at a particular range, the prior poster was right about double action. It is a sterile place to shoot in that the ventilation system is more efficient than Target Master. But in saying that you want to spend a lot of time, you should also be prepared to spend a lot of money as well, if your choice is double action. You must purchase ammo from that venue and it is overpriced. If you are among the chosen, double action will let you bring outside ammo. Target Master, for the most part, permits outside ammo short of reloads and steel case and their ammo inventory is cheaper than double action.
Membership fees are about the same at both ranges.
If you have a gun to sell, Double Action is very fair in their consignment fees. Because of the not so swift customer base at double action, the management will deliver you top dollar for your used gun. I can attest to this fact from personal experiences. The money that I got from two used guns on two different occasions, was almost what a new model would cost. Thank goodness for impulse buyers that don't research what they are in the market for.
