    Talking I'm a happy man!!

Just picked up my new S&W M&P compact, have given it an initial cleaning and will try it out tomorrow for good measure. I'll put some cash away and get a lasergrip for it and then its practice, pratice, practice,

Congrats, I've never used one but I've heard some very good things about them. Good luck with it and have fun at the range.

Congratulations! I picked up my M&P 9c yesterday. I ran a few rounds through it on the way home to make sure it went bang. I was shooting to the left a little. Got home, put the largest palm swell on it, and was back at the range this morning. It shot real nice and left a big hole in the center of the paper.

Good luck with yours. I think you will really like it.

Thumbs up Re: I'm a happy man!!

    Okay
First impressions of the M&P9c, felt good in the hand using the large or mid grip, groupings of 1.5 inches@7 yards right out of the box, 3-4 inhches @ 15 yards and at 25 yards just about everything inside a 8X11 paper( anything off was most probably me, not the gun. I've been away from shooting for awhile so it will take a little time to get back into it. By comparison my Jimenez J A Nine cant hold a stick to it. But it is still a good little short range plinker. Bad weather called for this weekend so wont get to the range again till next week. P.S. it was also the first time I cc'd her in Pa. Due to large gut and NO butt I think I will have to go back to a shoulder rig. More after the next range session.
