Has anyone used http://www.galleryofguns.com/ for the purchace of a firearm?

If so, I was just wondering what your experience with them was, I may want to use them in the future.

Davidson's (Gallery of Guns) is one of my main wholesalers. I have never had a lick of problems with them. Also, they have one of the best warranty programs around. They (Gallery of Guns) offers a lifetime warranty on guns you buy from them. If anything goes wrong they replace the gun (not just act on your behalf to the manufacturer).

Example: A client bought a Taurus PT 745 from me (through them). We went out to shoot it on a Friday afternoon and it would not feed the rounds correctly. I called them from the shooting range, talked to my contact, gave him the serial number and he FedEx'd another which I received on Monday (when I called it was too late for him to get it out for a Saturday delivery). They also sent the shipping label to send the defective one back (their dime).

i have never bought through them but i enter the contest every month. no gun yet but i did get a few free magazine subscriptions.

i do use it as a price reference.

I've used them a few times and have had a positive experience except when it comes to buying pistol magazines. They won't sell you magazines unless you're buying a pistol (or I suspect another firearm) at the same time. I bought a SCCY CPX2 and a few months later wanted a couple of extra mags. They wouldn't sell me any even though they had ZERO SCCY pistols in stock and well over 100 magazines! I wonder if they ever noticed that the SCCY magazines weren't selling??

I contracted SCCY and they put me in touch with a company in GA. I had my mags a few days later.

Its a more expensive option to buy guns online but super simple compared to lining up a FFL and all that.

I've used them a few time without trouble. I've had more issues with the FFL's than I've had with them. Find a good FFL that will order for you through them and you may be able to save some on shipping.
