Does Ruger have any warranty?

the firearms industry seems to have some of the best warranty services of any industry i have ever dealt with. As a side perk of this so much of it is US based that i have yet to be routed to india for any of my firearms needs.

A friend shot out the barrel on his Ruger Mk II. He sent it back to Ruger, asking them to install a new barrel and bill him. He was very surprised to get his gun back with a new barrel and an invoice marked "no charge."

I hammered the pin in the back incorrectly and jammed it. Replaced no questions asked, one week.

Search around the web. You will find very few instances where somebody was unhappy with Ruger customer service.

As stated ad nausium above they don't technically have a warranty but I have yet to hear of a customer with a true "warranty type" issue have anything but stellar service. Even those who have done things that should be excluded under any warranty in existence have been taken care of.

Ruger is a model for what customer service should be.
