    Default Glock 22 Sight Alignment

    B"H

    Do you guys know when shooting a glock if you are supposed to
    aligning the sights right on the target (centered) or at the “six o clock” position which is lining up the sights and placing them just on the bottom of the acquired target??
    Thank you for your replies.

    Front dot right on top of the target, at least, with all the Glocks I've owned.

    So you are saying the target ( lets pretend i am trying to hit the red dot in a paper target ) should be completely covered by the front sight dot and invisible to me?

    Lol, depends on the size on the dot. I apologize, I wasn't at all clear in mY post above. Try this;

    ^^^^ That has always worked for me, with standard Glock sights and Glock factory night sights.

    Thanks a lot. Now I know why i hit a 8 inch x 8 inch target only 11 times with 200 bullets fired at 25 yards.

    Lol, it happens. Start close, stupid close if you have to, it'll help you figure the sights out, with any handgun. No shame in shooting at 5 yards.

    late reply sorry, don't forget distance to target plays a role in this also. close up say out to 10 to 15 yards i hold at center. beyond that i hold at 6 oclock. works well for me but everyones perspective is different as well as shooting technique, hold, grip,trigger pull ect.
