Never buy a ?

To go along with the other thread.... Three Pistols I'd never buy are

1. Glock . . . any model, just don't like the way they feel, not saying they're not good guns

2. Any Armscor 1911 . . . been there done that, you can keep the t-shirts

3. Pistol in a Rifle Caliber other than a T/C

I don't prejudice against guns, except those that are priced high due to who made it - so I only have one.

1. never buy a gun that is overpriced due to the manufacturer's reputation when an exact equivalent model is available for much less. IE: Clark, Nighthawk, Brown, Les Baer, etc versus Rock Island, Springfield, Norinco, etc.


It isn't like comparing a Holland & Holland or Merkel versus a H&R or TC Contender - because they are vastly different guns. But a $1500 to $3000 1911 that shoots the same as a $300-$500 1911 is absurd.

I would buy a lot of their products, just not the "traditional" magnums. I actually have my eye on one of their 1911's.

Used Glock w/aftermarket parts in it. It's possible (though not always true) that you'll have to spend more money putting it back to the way it was intended to be.
