Default M1/M14/M1A pattern weapons. Need a Smith.

I have heard that Jon Robinson at Classic Pistol is the man to see. Does anyone have any experiences with him or with someone else who did good (or bad) work to your M1/M14/M1A? I'm looking to have the action bedded into the stock and a few other accuracy tweaks. I've been giving Eric Pierce at the National Match Armory serious thought, but I don't have $2000 lying around to throw at a gun.

Unfortunately, my M1A is all metal and fiberglass. The site says wood guns. Oh well, worth a try.

Go with John, he is a master at the M1/M1A/M14 pattern guns in both build from parts to accurizing... hes my gunsmith whn I need one, and hes built many a custom NFA project for me also.

    go to John with Confidence
