Sports Authority

I was at the Easton/Nazareth one recently.

I guess they opened about a year ago. I went in a couple months after they opened. No prices on the ammo, no price lists, and a couple dumb kids working the gun counter. They seemed like they were trying, but didn't know what they were doing and weren't given the proper tools.

I was there the other day and the guy at the gun counter was very friendly and very helpful. I didn't quiz him, but he seemed to know about guns and the products he carried. He owns an AR with a .22 kit, so he's not a Fud.

I was a little surprised by the experience.

I know who you mean. It was a few months ago, but I believe the same guy helped me out. Even recommended another store because they didn't have the ammo I was looking for at the time. He was certainly no kid, an older guy... like myself

he knows his stuff. he'd also rather send you to where you can find what you want, not sell you what you don't. (i've dealt with him)

they're at the mercy of a corporate purchaser.

Just so you gentlemen know, as corporate forgot to advertise it, Sports Authority will be selling all ammo on 11/25 as Buy one box, get one at 50% off, with a limit of ten boxes per transaction. Sale starts at 5 am and runs until three or until its all gone.
