Problem with CZ85B RH slide stop lever

The old RH slide stop broke at the sleeve that fits over the actual slide stop.

I ordered and received a replacement from CZ (well twice actually), but the sleeve is a larger diameter. I'm waiting to here back from them but they are very slow to respond and also have limited hours.

It is an early (94) model and I've read somewhere that this part was made stronger in later models, but it unless I'm missing something, it is at least 1 mm to large and simply wont fit in the hole in the frame. The inner diameter of the new sleeve is correct though, it connects to the slide stop pin as it should when dry fitting the parts together.

It appears the frame hole could be expanded to fit, but I'd like to avoid this unless the correct part is available ... but I've seen none other than from CZ.

CZ forum doesn't respond to my registration requests, and nothing comes up regarding this exact problem in their forum searches or my searches for other replacement parts.

Quite possible that the new part is an "upgrade" or "new and improved". Maybe this was a common issue, forcing them to make it bigger/thicker.

after more searching it seems my CZ is a very early or transition B that had some of the parts of the pre B models.

I initially ignored these results because it was, obviously a B.

Found one, but only one similar issue but the post/thread was from 15 years ago.
