Question Information on gun cleaning kits

I am starting to look for accessories etc for my Beretta PX4 Storm. I want to get a decent gun cleaning kit and mat. I got the mat covered but I wanted to get some opinions on what you guys use for maintenance on your weapons.

    Thanks for the continued help.

Even when I bought kits there were other things I needed or things wore out and I end up with just a bunch of different pieces. There as many opinions as there are raindrops when it comes to which brand. I've used a bunch of different brands and they all worked.

I still prefer a rod and patches than the pull through ones, unless I just want to do a quick clean at the range. That's just my preference.

A skinny tooth brush or one made specifically for guns like this one from Tipton

Comes in really handy when cleaning the slide and other small areas.

I really like these gun picks too

A couple of cheap products that are very useful.

Everybody tries to over complicate gun cleaning. The previous post is all you need, except maybee Q-tips. All of the cleaners on the market work. The only problem that I have had of all of the different brands that I have tried is that my wife did not like the smell of some.

    I have long and pistols.

I uses hopps and weaponshield. I also use bore foam for fouling. I use brass brush and patches.

I use bore snake for 22

Use the right tool for the job.

I like the Ottis CA le system myself.
