    Default Automatic Logout After Inactivity

I can't speak for others, but I like checking in on PAFOA occasionally during work, at home, etc. I don't spend much time on it all at once. For this reason, it kind of bugs me that I get logged out automatically after what seems like a short period of time.

Is there a reason that the site logs you out after such a short period? I don't know anything about computers so if it is something technical I'll just take your word for it.

When you log in, did you check the box that says "keep me logged in"?

The "remember me?" field? I check it when logging in, but occasionally my browser at work clears history, cookies, etc. without even being closed.

Does this mean it could just be a problem with my browser?

Not a problem with your browser, it sounds as though your IT department has a policy setup to do that.

Not much you can do, because if they have such a policy, chances are, you're also not allowed to install an alternate browser that wouldn't be affected by the GPO.

Just a word of caution, if your IT department there is spry enough to put a GPO in place to do that, chances are, they're also monitoring sites that are visited. Make sure you're not violating any company policies by your browsing.
