    Got home tonight to find this on my desk.Does any one have any info about this sig .My wife got it for chirtmas.Thanks.

    As I understand it private transfers of handguns are only permitted when neither party is prohibited from ownership and the transfer occurs between husband and wife or parent and child. Other requirements are that both are a current resident of PA.

    That would seem to mean that as long as your spouse or yourself isn't prohibited from owning a firearm that you could purchase and gift a handgun to each other or child.
