22LR with extra helping of anti-lib
because it's just plain evil, dammit!
It's a MAS Gunworks 5.5" 22 upper, setup for fullauto, though it's pictured on an SBR lower
Runs perfect with Federal bulk packs

damn i want one, yes it is just plain evil. got to have some serious wierd out factor at the range. how do you like the surefire set up? been looking at them for awhile, want one for my sf2000 but the price keeps me away. going to check them out again in pittsburg this weekend at the convention. oooops just saw the one you have is a knock off who made and how happy have you been with it. shoot some for me , red dog

That's really sick.
If I had it to do all over again, I would go with something like that. A buddy of mine has a sick supershort dedicated .22 upper.
That being said, I get reliable and silent .22 FA. So I'm hesitant to switch out what I have.

I picked up the knock -off, a RICO Alpha 9, used for ~ $100 . The actual Surefire unit is ~ 6X the price. For that money you could go with any forward grip and any light, and still have money left to buy ammo. It's just too much for what it is, unless it is the absolutely perfect fit and configuration for your need.
The RICO is marketed to airsofter's, but it held up for 1000 rounds plus on a 223, and should have little trouble in its now permanent home on that 22.
