Default Reading Expo Center The Pretzel Capital of the World

Thought I'd start a thread since I saw billboards, and newpaper ads about this show in my backyard, but saw nothing on PAFOA site.

Looks like this is another 'show restoration' by Eagle Arms. Been wanting an excuse to hit the Unique pretezel outlet for some of their great 'burnt' pretzels, and get some chocolate covered ones for my wife.

Eagles done a great job on shows, and now I have two good reasons to go to Reading!

    Where's the coupon????

I dont think they had more than 100-150 tables there today
They had some good prices on surplus stuff(bags, alice bags etc).
IN my opinion isnt worth the entrance fee.
When i left at 10:45 the Eagle Arms table was selling some helmets, uniforms, forks,FEW LADIES HAND BAGS but no ammo or rifles

Its a nice location but not many buyers, i tried selling there once and will never go back. Alot of interested "shoppers" but very few buyers. Sold only a few small cheap parts but not enough to cover my table or gas costs, plus the hotels there are extremly high priced for no reson at all.

I went there looking for 1911 mags and maybe a non-ambi safety and Federal HST in 40. Found no 1911 mags except for used cheap surplus mags for $10 each no parts and 1 guy had HST's in 165gr 40 for $50, I almost asked for my entrance fees back. There were more dumb ass t-shirt being sold than anything.

I didn't see any, I saw Taurus, XD, Makarov, CZ but no HK, I don't think it's worth the trip, but it's your call. If you go let me know if Sun. is any better than today.

100 to 150 tables? were we at the same Reading Expo Center?

The Reading Expo Center show I was at had 300 to 350 tables! I did see 1 jewelry dealer and 1 t-shirt dealer (the same anti gov./pro gun guy that does just about all of eagles shows!

The crowd was a little lite but quite a few dealers were writing guns! I walked past Haycock Hollow a couple times and everytime he had a customer doing paperwork!

In my opinion the show is/will make a comeback from the days of MAAC promoting it and when you figure in the shows at the Philly NG and Middletown all going on this weekend PLUS the NRA convention in pittsburgh?
I think Eagle did a pretty good job in filling 300 to 350 tables for the first shot at breathing life back into a dead show venue.

ETA: as for the eagle tables being void of guns and ammo? I asked and was told that mechanical problems with thier box truck forced them to leave the guns home for the day! Hopefully they will be there tomorrow.
