Sub-Compact Information

A few weeks ago I bout a PX4 Storm full size and love it, however when it came to CC I wasn't sure how easy it would be to carry, as I am more of a thin build and wasn't sure I could carry my weapon IWB.

So I just wanted to get some possible opinions about a good sub-compact to maybe look into.

I just picked up a G27 so I am on that kick right now. Great gun and very affordable. I picked mine up for 399.00 LNIB never fired.

I have a Beretta PX4 Storm Sub-compact in 9mm and I carry it in a Crossbreed supertuck holster and I think it is awesome. But I am not a thin build, 5'11, 225lbs. 36" waist. It is too large for my wife to carry, 5'10 155, so she carries a Taurus 709 slim stainless in a crossbreed supertuck and it is invisible under most shirts. I have never had any problems with either weapon, but from a subjective point of view, the Beretta is fantastic to shoot. Very comfortable and easy to control, very little muzzle flip and no soreness after even 100 rounds. With a full mag and 1 in the chamber it is a little heavy. And because it is a double stack mag its "thick" too. The Taurus on the other hand has quite a bit of muzzle flip and my hand will be sore after 50 rounds or so. But that may also be that it is too small for my hands.

I loved shooting my glock 26, but my P2000sk is thinner and easier to conceal. It's now my new carry weapon. I love it.

I'm 6"3, 175. I carry and SR9C. Nice and thin and it conceals great in a Minotaur M-TAC

love my Taurus 709 Slim.......Less than an inch wide and 17 oz. Carry it very concealed in my crossbreed minituck

I say go with a power house double stack Glock 26 or 27. You wont be sorry, you'll be envied... .
