Found a Gem Today, S&W 38-2, $219

This thing has the best trigger I've ever felt on a J frame. It makes the current manufacture J frames I've owned feel like Sigmas. Silky smooth. I'm ecstatic. The Pachmayrs have to go, but for $219? I don't mind.

Nice... And it doesn't show any external signs of abuse, that I can see anyhow (I don't even see any real turn-line); How is the end-shake and lockup?

(And to think, some folks would still opt for a NIB Taurus, etc., over such a "used" specimen of S&W, for MORE money than you paid... I don't get it)

It locks up tight. Super tight. Between that and the trigger I would have paid twice what I did. And yes, the turn line is pretty much nonexistent.

I'll keep that in mind.

I feel this may be one I hold onto, but I do have serious gun ADD. We'll see what happens.
