I'm going today. I've never been to a bad York show. Any gun show good or bad is better than working.

Spent part of yesterday there. Was not impressed. Saw a few things, but only picked up a few acccessories and such, here and there.

Although, since I'm into milsurps, it's probably not surprising.

Pretty disappointing compared to what this show used to be. It was a great show if you were looking for some jewelry, a crappy knife, meat products, or the perfect t-shirt to wear to your next Tea Party rally.

I wish I had gone to Allentown even though I live about 5 minutes away from the York Fairgrounds.

The Forks of the Delaware show is much, much better if you are looking for collectables. Problem is it's 80 miles away!

80 miles, but most definatly worth it for a such a large gathering of good vintage militaria.

Bought a couple of knives and 2 lbs of chocolate fudge. Lol!

Pretty good show overall...wish we could have spent more time there.

Wow.....the show this year sucked giant salty balls! I mean really; jewelry, Tea Party T-shirts (ok, they WERE funny), fudge, beef jerky, Pakistani made knives, and air guns? Give me a break!! I can't believe I wasted $8.00 and 2 hours walking around.

The last gun show that was held a few months back at Memorial Hall was a very pleasant surprise. There was a TON of room to walk....and there seemed like less junk. I came away with a custom made locally made Damascus folder and some ammo. The show last weekend I walked out with a digi-camo medium sized military pack that I paid $50.00 for.

I refuse to go to the Harrisburg Show since they started charging $10.00 just to park (Before the gun show fee!) but I think I may have to since York is now starting to teeter on lameness.

I really gotta laugh at some of the prices these old bozo's come up for old pieces of crap pistols. Hahahahaha!! They seem to be in the dark about the internet. I can be walking along, see a piece I like, and then immediately whip out my iPhone and go onto gunbroker.com or gunsamerica.com and find it cheaper, even though I have to ship it to my FFL dealer! I haven't bought an actual "gun" at a show in about 3 years now.

I did see a cool little rifle that I liked....a plinker. It was medium sized, and had an AR styled telescoping stock I believe. It took GLOCK 9mm or .40S&W magazines (so think like a 30 round mag at least) and it looked built pretty solid. It had the Picatinny rail on top, stocks with rails, etc. It only cost like $350-$400.00. I thought it was a neat idea for home defense or just a fun plinker. It was NOT however one of those GSR/GST .22LR HK MP5 clones. They are pretty sweet I'll admit, but this was different.

So this is the reason it took 30 mins for a call to PICS to transfer my AR15 to lance4682, as well as the crazy traffic I had to deal with on my 2 1/2 hour drive to York.

I had a hard time just trying to get in. They balked at honoring the on line at their web site printed $1 discount coupon.
