    Default New 45 from RIA

    Rock Island Armory

Looks like RIA is coming out with a new 1911 with a full rail and meprolight sights. The only downside to my RIA Tactical I would say are the sights. This new offering makes me happy.

Looks great. I'm always impressed with the bang for the buck with Armscor products. Wonder if it will come in 9mm down the road?

(Somebody punch that guy in the nuts for putting that knife on the rail!!)

Wondering the price point and who's going to carry them first!

Sent an email to Ivan at Armscor about when we can expect the gun and the price. His reply is below ...

It is a full dust cover pistol, I do not know the price yet, Centerfire systems will have it, Should be end of may.
    Thanks

Yeah really... Way to detract from one's own credibility. I wonder if Armscor/RIA exec's did a face-palm when they saw this video?

Depending on the price, I'd pick up a .45 and 9mm. I'd say its a guarantee it won't be anywhere near as much as a SA TRP Operator.

the gun is cool, but the video in OP about a bayonette is.......well......thats retarded. I guess you could use it in a zombie video game

It looks great, and if it comes in 9mm, it will be mine. However, couldn't have they made the transition from the trigger guard to the rear of the rail a little smoother. Looks "added on."

    Some more pix.... clicky!
