Re: Pistol range in Lansdale?
Hi Folks,
PAFOA noob here. My first post.
I have shot at Target World for a few years and have found them to be a good outfit. If you shoot alot get the membership.
I also shoot at Bucks County Fish and Game in Doylestown. Good group there also.

Re: Pistol range in Lansdale?
Ha, I drove to Target World a couple of weeks ago intending to hit the range but from the way it looked I decided to go elsewhere. I don't know what it was, I didn't look inside, it just looked unkept or something. Never judge a book by it's cover - true - but when it involves operating deadly firearms - maybe.

Re: Pistol range in Lansdale?
Classic pistol
Pros- very clean building, Snack machines, very good ventilation, membership fee is a nice price.I believe its 189-199 ball park range. Nice and cool in there
even when its 90+ out side
cons- They are overly st ricked in there,The stall you stand in to shoot seem rather small.I found the the target rolls are a bit jumpy( not sure what there really called)
Claytons
pros- I v found you can rapit fire there, Stalls are nice and roomy, not strick at all. i haven't found any problems with target roller not sure what there really called)
cons- Its alittle loud,NO Ventilation(do to issues with the stake house next store), Membership fee is a bit high i believe its 275 for the yr.Its very hot in there.
Target world - I haven't shot there so i cant say much. BUT you have to be 21 to shot there pistol or rifle doesn't matter you have to be 21!
I might have missed a few pros or cons but hope this helps

Re: Pistol range in Lansdale?
I often will shoot at Target World and never have had an issue. The guys have always been friendly there and I find their prices to be reasonable if you get the NRA discount or club discount. The 3 hours free range time with a firearm purchase is a nice little addition.
There's a couple of clubs within 20 minutes or so. I've been to following:
Boulder Valley Sportsmen Association - covered outdoor range pistol, 50, 75, 100, and 200 yards.
Providence Rod and Gun - nice indoor pistol range, not sure about the rifle/outdoor range(s)"If guns cause crime then all of mine are defective." -Ted Nugent

Target World:
No air conditioning in the range.
You'll sweat your balls off there in the summertime.
